Analytics is a tool that helps you keep track of your user activity.
This includes how many users entered your website in a specific time,
where those users came from, which pages they visited, etc.
Steps
in Google Analytics
Go
to Google.com/analytics and sign in with G mail account.

Click on new account

Select your tracking options.

It’s definitely up to you if you want to share your data with Google. Make sure that you change your account name to your client account.

Get your tracking code; copy it and paste it in the header code of our CMS so that it is automatically inside the <head> section.
Understanding data's

Visits: - The number of times a user went in your website to look around.

Unique visitors: - The number of people who went in your website for that specific time.

Page views: - The number of pages a visitor has looked at for the duration of his stay in your websites.

Pages/Visits: - it is simply page views divided by Visits.

Average visit duration:- The average time spent by your users in your websites.

Bounce rate: - The percentage of your users going into your website and ‘bouncing out’.

%New visits:- Simply the percentage of the people who have visited your websites for the first time during a chosen specific time period who have already visited your website previous to that time period.
